SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball there’s good news! Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. In case of inclement weather\, check email notifications and/or the website for updates.

SUMMARY:General Meeting and Social Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Following the short meeting\, enjoy the return of Peppermill Music. MC Tony is back! The theme for this gathering will be “DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES.” You’ll enjoy the same music that got your toes to do some tapping in your youth\, and still does today! Members are encouraged to dress up in the garb of their favorite decade of music…..50’s…60’s….70’s….80’s…..90’s….. and early 2000’s. Tony and friends will also lead us in a couple of line dances like The Stroll\, Limbo Rock\, Electric Slide. As before members can bring treats and decorations for the tables to share at the event. Use your imagination…. and let’s have FUN.!!! \nNOTE: Water is provided; other beverages may be purchased. The bar accepts cash only. There is an ATM is on site. \n\n(The General Membership Meeting occurs every fourth Wednesday\, and is open to all WOW members and their guests. Entertainment follows the meeting. There is a $10.00 fee for second time guests.)
