SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball there’s good news! Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. In case of inclement weather\, check email notifications and/or the website for updates.

SUMMARY:General Meeting and Social Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Following the short meeting\, we will be dancing to the multi-decade stylings of The Hit-Men.  This fun five-piece band with classic covers from Old Soul to Upbeat Country will help us to celebrate the month of July and the Birth Of Our Nation! So get into the Spirit of 1776 and wear your favorite red\, white\, and blue outfits. Members are encouraged to bring treats and 4th of July decorations for the tables to share at the event… so let the “Fireworks ” begin. \nNOTE: Water is provided; other beverages may be purchased. The bar accepts cash only. There is an ATM is on site. \n\n(The General Membership Meeting occurs every fourth Wednesday\, and is open to all WOW members and their guests. Entertainment follows the meeting. There is a $10.00 fee for second time guests.)
