SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball we have good news! Come at 11:00AM (an hour prior to game-time) to attend “Camp Carl” in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, to focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! Regular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle along with outdoor pickleballs\, a water bottle\, sunscreen and lawn chair if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Happens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. In case of inclement weather\, check email notifications and/or the website for updates.

SUMMARY:Learn to Play Mahjong!
DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn the exciting game of Mahjong! The Hosts will be  available to teach the basics of the game and to share their passion for it. We will\, tentatively\, meet at the Ale House on the same afternoon as “Pizza Night”. We will be gathering in the same space that we meet for Pizza. We welcome all levels of players\, but especially those who are new to the game. We hope this evolves into a regular monthly opportunity to play Mahjong together. No registration required. No fee. We will provide the games\, the cards\, written instructions\, website suggestions for practice\, and plenty of verbal instruction (and laughter). (Happens the 2nd Wednesday of every month)

SUMMARY:Pizza Night
DESCRIPTION:Join your WOW friends for pizza! Check-in begins at 4:30 pm near the semi-private lower dining area\, which is reserved for our group. Pizza will be served between 5:15 – 5:30 pm. Cost is $10.00 (cash only. No bills over $20 please). **NOTE: There is no ordering off the menu allowed**  Sign up on the Pizza clipboard at the previous monthly Social Gathering OR by texting or calling one of the PIZZA hosts (Diane 414-587-3448 or  Julie 414-477-0410). Registration deadline is the Monday prior to the Pizza Night. \n\nPLEASE NOTE – It is extremely important for the host to be able to know exacctly how many will be attending each Pizza Night event so that they can order the proper number of pizzas with the kitchen staff. Please be aware that we are charged for no-shows – For this reason\, a $10 sanction will be assessed on those who NEGLECT TO NOTIFY the Hosts after they signed up but then can’t attend. Furthermore\, those who DO NOT register\, but just show up on Pizza Night will be charged $12 instead of the regular $10.\n\n\nHappens on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
