SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball we have good news! Come at 11:00AM (an hour prior to game-time) to attend “Camp Carl” in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, to focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! Regular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle along with outdoor pickleballs\, a water bottle\, sunscreen and lawn chair if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Happens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. In case of inclement weather\, check email notifications and/or the website for updates.

SUMMARY:General Meeting and Social Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Following the short meeting celebrate All Things Milwaukee while enjoying the live music of The Hitmen from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Members are encouraged to wear anything that celebrates the Cream City from sports teams like the Brewers\, Bucks\, beer and breweries\, Harley-Davidson\, Summerfest\, the Lakefront\, boating\, etc. \nNOTE: Water is provided; other beverages may be purchased. The bar accepts cash only. There is an ATM is on site. \n\n(The General Membership Meeting occurs every fourth Wednesday of the month and are open to all WOW members and their guests. Entertainment follows the meeting. There is a $10.00 fee for second time guests.)
