DESCRIPTION:Join your WOW friends for pizza! Check-in begins at 4:30 pm near the semi-private lower dining area\, which is reserved for our group. Pizza will be served between 5:15 – 5:30 pm. Cost is $10.00 (cash only. No bills over $20 please). **NOTE: There is no ordering off the menu allowed**  Sign up on the Pizza clipboard at the previous monthly Social Gathering OR by texting or calling one of the PIZZA hosts (Diane 414-587-3448 or  Julie 414-477-0410). Registration deadline is the Monday prior to the Pizza Night. \n\nPLEASE NOTE – It is extremely important for the host to be able to know exacctly how many will be attending each Pizza Night event so that they can order the proper number of pizzas with the kitchen staff. Please be aware that we are charged for no-shows – For this reason\, a $10 sanction will be assessed on those who NEGLECT TO NOTIFY the Hosts after they signed up but then can’t attend. Furthermore\, those who DO NOT register\, but just show up on Pizza Night will be charged $12 instead of the regular $10.\n\n\nHappens on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

DESCRIPTION:This month we will read How To Read A Book by Monica Wood. Violet Powell\, a 22-year-old from rural\, Maine\, is being released from prison after serving 22 months for a drunk-driving crash that killed a local kindergarten teacher. Harriet Larson\, a retired English teacher who runs the prison book club\, is facing the unsettling prospect of an empty nest. Frank Daigle\, a retired machinist\, hasn’t yet come to grips with the complications of his marriage to the woman Violet killed. When the three encounter each other one morning in a bookstore in Portland their lives begin to intersect in transformative ways. How to Read a Book  is an honest and hopeful story about letting go of guilt\, seizing second chances\, and the power of books to change our lives.
