Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball there’s good news! Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. DESCRIPTION:Dinner will be served buffet-style in the banquet room. Fish choices are fried or baked. Potato choices are French fries\, waffle fries\, oven browned\, homemade chips\, or potato pancakes (with applesauce).
