Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions. Built around an arsenal of multiple WAMI (Wisconsin “Grammy”) award-winning musicians\, including the 2015 male vocalist of the year Paul Lent\, “SEPARATE WAYS” incorporates forceful vocals with dynamic players\, who together recreate the JOURNEY sound that we all love. \nConcessions open at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks\, beer\, wine & other beverages will be available (sorry\, no alcoholic beverages may be carried in\, however\, carry-in food items are allowed). We will sit in a group – so bring your lawn chair & just look for the WOW flag. Show starts at 7:00 p.m. \nPlease note: City Ordinance 11.27(4)(a) prohibits the carry-in of alcohol. An intimate portrait of a coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided.  “Women can be heroes.”  When 24 year old nursing student Frankie McGrath hears those words it is a revelation.  In 1965\, the world was changing\, and she joined the Army Nurse Corps and went to Vietnam.  Frankie was overwhelmed by the chaos and destruction of war.  This is the story of one woman gone to war\, but shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm’s way and whose sacrifice and commitment to their country has too often been forgotten. \nWe always welcome new members!  Join every 4th Thursday of the month or only on occasion.  Food and drink can be purchased at the restaurant.  There’s always good fellowship. DESCRIPTION:Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines tennis\, badminton\, and ping-pong on a smaller court\, making it accessible for people of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never played Pickleball there’s good news! Come an hour prior to game-time to attend “Camp Carl.” Camp Carl is offered in honor of WOW’s late-pickleball founder\, Carl Fisher\, and will focus on familiarizing newbies with the rules and techniques of the game as well as give experienced players a chance to brush-up on their skills! NOTE: Camp Carl begins at 11:00am. \nRegular play will begin at 12:00 Noon. Bring your own pickleball paddle and outdoor pickleballs\, if you have them. There will be some outdoor pickleballs on hand. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or electrolyte drink and a lawn chair\, if desired. \nHappens every Wednesday from May to mid-October\, weather permitting. Contact event organizer with any questions.
