WOW Annual Picnic

The picnic includes a box lunch from Cousins Subs – sandwich, chips, and a cookie – served at noon. WOW will provide watermelon, a cupcake, and bottled water. Bring anything else you would like to drink (we have an alcohol permit), but nothing in glass bottles per park rules.

The park provides tables in a covered shelter, bathrooms, basketball court, softball field, tennis courts, and a horseshoe pit if you bring balls/bats/rackets or horseshoes. We will provide active lawn games and cards, cribbage, and bingo for the not so active. You may want to bring a comfy lawn chair, but no pets, please.

New this year is a Baked Bean Contest. Prepare your favorite family recipe for bragging rights in a low-stakes competition. We have electric outlets to keep your slow-cooker dish hot. Contestants are to provide their own ingredients without reimbursement.

Sandwich Choices (please choose one per person):
Club – Ham, turkey, provolone, lettuce, onion, tomatoes & mayo
Veggie – Provolone, spring mix, green pepper, cucumbers, onion & tomato
Roast Beef Cheddar – Beef, cheddar, lettuce, onion, tomato & mayo
Chicken Cheddar Cheese – Chicken breast, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, onion, tomato & mayo.
