For the month of October, we are reading Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly. Recounted events surrounding the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln.  Learn about the conspiracy plot John Wilkes Booth formulated, beginning with his intention to kidnap Lincoln, which later escalated to a plan to murder him.  The book explores the lasting impact Lincoln’s  assassination had on the course of Reconstruction and his enduring legacy in American history. We always welcome new members!  Join every 4th Thursday of the month or only on occasion.  Food and drink can be purchased at the restaurant.  There’s always good fellowship.
